On 28 July 2026, Saigonvet was pleased to welcome
40 customers, including shrimp farmers and aquaculture
solution providers
from Vietnam’s south-western coastal provinces to visit its
WHO-GMP-compliant manufacturing facility.
Against a backdrop of increasingly intense competition in the
veterinary and aquaculture industries, disease control is becoming
more challenging because of changes in water quality, weather
conditions and farming environments. Building lasting trust with
farmers and business partners is therefore one of the greatest
challenges facing companies in the industry.
Bringing together a large group of customers who directly manage
farms, make technical decisions or provide solutions to shrimp
farmers for a factory visit is not easy. The programme on
28 July 2026 was therefore more than a customer reception. It
demonstrated the strong practical relationships that Saigonvet’s
team has developed while working alongside the shrimp industry in
south-western Vietnam.
Saigonvet welcomed 40 shrimp industry customers from Vietnam’s
south-western coastal provinces and introduced the programme.
The visit gave customers an opportunity to see, understand and
assess Saigonvet’s research, manufacturing, quality-control and
practical solution-delivery capabilities at first hand.
The foundation of Saigonvet’s distinctive approach
Saigonvet’s “Practical Triangle”
During the programme, visitors were introduced to Saigonvet’s
history, scale of operations, manufacturing strengths and
development direction. A key focus was the
“Practical Triangle” – a model that connects
field experience, research and manufacturing to develop
solutions that address the actual needs of shrimp farms.
1
Field-based sales and technical teams
These teams maintain close contact with
customers and visit farms directly to observe,
listen and record information about disease,
environmental conditions, farming procedures
and local operational challenges.
2
Research and development teams in Saigonvet’s laboratories
Information and data collected in the field are
analysed, researched and tested to identify
approaches suited to the actual conditions of
different farming models.
3
WHO-GMP-compliant manufacturing capability
Research directions are translated into
consistently manufactured products that can be
supplied efficiently and respond more closely
to customer and market needs.
A Saigonvet representative explains the “Practical
Triangle” and the connection between field operations,
laboratory research and manufacturing capability in
addressing real challenges at shrimp farms.
This connection ensures that information does not stop at the
sales stage. It moves continuously from customers to the
technical team, from farms to the laboratories, and then to
the manufacturing facility before returning as practical
solutions for the issues occurring at farms.
Sharing and open dialogue
Turning real farming challenges into relevant solutions
Introducing Saigonvet’s capabilities and solution portfolio
Saigonvet’s team presented its key product groups and
solutions for the shrimp industry, while explaining
the research foundation, quality-control procedures
and manufacturing capabilities behind each product.
The presentation did not focus solely on product
characteristics. It also explained how Saigonvet
receives practical requirements, analyses problems and
co-ordinates between departments to develop solutions
that can be applied at farms.
Listening directly to farm decision-makers
The discussion and question-and-answer session generated
active and open exchanges about shrimp-farming
conditions, water-quality management, disease control
and the use of technical solutions in different farming
areas.
It gave Saigonvet’s specialists direct access to the
people who manage operations and make decisions at
farms. Their experience provides insights that cannot
always be fully captured in technical documents or
market reports.
Seeing Saigonvet’s capabilities at first hand
Visiting the manufacturing facility and operational areas
Following the presentations and discussions, the customers
toured key areas of the manufacturing facility. Seeing the
operational systems, raw-material warehouse, finished-goods
warehouse and laboratories helped visitors understand
Saigonvet’s scale, processes and quality-control capabilities
more clearly.
The customers toured the factory grounds and key
operating areas of Saigonvet’s manufacturing facility.
Visitors learnt about the receipt, storage and
management of raw materials used in manufacturing.
The tour included Saigonvet’s finished-goods warehouse
and its product storage, management and supply systems.
Customers observed the laboratories where field
information is analysed and used to support research
and solution development.
Building connections beyond the technical programme
Sharing experiences and exploring opportunities for co-operation
After the factory tour and technical discussions, customers
and the Saigonvet team continued their conversations in a more
informal setting. These open exchanges helped both sides gain
a better understanding of market needs, operating practices,
expectations for co-operation and the challenges encountered
in day-to-day business.
In addition to technical issues at farms, participants
discussed different approaches to market support, commercial
co-operation and improving business effectiveness. These
conversations created a stronger foundation for long-term
relationships based on practical understanding and shared
value.
Informal networking strengthened mutual understanding and
created further opportunities for practical co-operation
between customers and Saigonvet.
The value created by the visit
Building trust through first-hand experience
For Saigonvet, the programme was more than a factory visit. It
was an important opportunity for its specialists to listen
directly to the people who operate farms and make decisions
on site. Their comments provided deeper insight into farming
conditions, disease challenges, environmental changes and the
practical needs of different production areas.
Information gathered during the programme will continue to be
shared with Saigonvet’s technical, research and manufacturing
teams. This will support the ongoing development of products
and solutions that respond more closely to the realities of
Vietnam’s shrimp-farming industry.
With its positioning as
“Practical Technical Experts”, Saigonvet
continues to follow an approach that begins in the field,
progresses through research and is realised through
manufacturing capability, with the aim of delivering
solutions that can be applied effectively at farms.
Saigonvet sincerely thanks all 40 customers
We sincerely thank our customers for taking the time to
participate, share their experience and engage with the
programme. Their trust and practical feedback provide
valuable motivation for Saigonvet to continue researching,
improving and delivering veterinary and aquaculture
solutions that are relevant, applicable and effective at
farm level.
